The Platte River Fitness Series focuses on fitness through participation. We believe that the first step into an engaged and active life is an understanding that individuals must participate in their own fitness, health and well-being.

points challenge


The Platte River Fitness Series focuses on fitness through participation. We believe that the first step into an engaged and active life is an understanding that individuals must participate in their own fitness, health and well-being.

The PRFS Points Challenge rewards participants for their yearlong commitment to a healthy lifestyle and participation in their fitness community, and is designed to place higher value on participation than on place. To earn participation points, an athlete must complete an event and earn a time.

We also recognize the value in the personal challenge and fulfillment found in athletic competition. To encourage athletes to strive for more, participants are also awarded points for placing in their respective age group by gender in a fitness event.
